Wife of a soldier dies, six structures gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 13 (UNI) The Wife of a soldier succumbed to burn injuries while six structures were gutted in a fire in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said.
They said 26-year-old Jakullin Marry wife of Naik Joseph was admitted to Army base hospital yesterday after she had received burn injuries in her residential quarter at Shariefabad.
She died today, they said adding police were investigating.
Three residential hous, one cowshed and one shop were gutted in a devastating fire at D K Marg in Kulgam district of south Kashmir while one house was reduced to ashes at Bijbehara last night.
