KEC International Ltd wins Rs 111 cr Power Grid contract
New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) KEC International Ltd today said it has bagged contract worth Rs 111 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
''The company has bagged order for supply and construction of 440 KV transmission lines on turnkey basis,'' the company said in a statement.
The scope of work involves supply of towers, line materials, erection and commissioning of transmission lines. The lines are 400 KV DC Quad Biharshariff-Koderma, 400 KV Maithon RB to Maithon (PG) and LILO of 400 KV Jamshedpur-Maithon at Majia.
The lines are associated with transmission system for start up power to DVC and Maithon Right Bank generation projects.
The total length of the lines is 160 kms which is to be constructed in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal.
