Jaipur serial blast: 150 injured, 50 killed

Jaipur, May 13: On Tuesday evening six serial blasts rocked the pink city. According to initial reports, more than 50 people have been killed and 150 have been injured.

The serial blasts triggered panic and near stampede situation at all the six congested areas. The injureds were rushed to Sawai Madhav Singh hospital. Five blasts occured within 12 minutes. The blast took place in a stranded car, while another at a shop. The blasts took place at crowded markets and populated areas of the city. The blasts took place in the walled city area. The serial blasts occured in the Manik Chowk police station area, Hawa Mahal, Johri Bazaar, Sanganeri Gate and Lakshmi Mishtan Bhandar. The first blast took place around around 7:35 pm, this evening at Manik Chowk Police station area.
