ICICI Pru to expand presence in rural areas
Thiruvananthapuram, May 13 (UNI) ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company will expand its presence in rural segments in the coming months.
Company Senior Vice-President (Human Resource) Sachin Joglekar told newspersons here that of the total 1,950 branches in the country, 1,000 units were in rural sector.
Even in Thiruvananthapuram district, the company proposed to open five branches in rural areas. ''We have 60 branches in Kerala and most of them are in rural segment,'' he added.
He said the company's retail new business accounted for a premium of Rs 6,684 crore during the previous financial year, registering a growth of 68 per cent.
