Bakshi is Match Commissioner for National Football Championship
Chandigarh, May 13 (UNI) An official of Haryana AG (Audit), Rakesh Bakshi, has been appointed as Match Commissioner by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the 62nd National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy to be conducted in Jammu and Srinagar from May 25 to June 15.
According to a letter by AIFF general secretary Alberto Colaco, Bakshi has been posted at Srinagar and has been asked to report on May 22.
Rakesh Bakshi had earlier officiated as Match Commissioner of the National Football League matches on a number of occasions. He also accompanied the Indian senior team to South Asian Federation Games in Islamabad and to Teharan with the Indian sub-junior team. He is also a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the AIFF.
