High alert in Bihar in the wake of Jaipur blast

Patna, May 13: Bihar police today sounded an alert across the state to avert any disruptive activities following the Jaipur serial blast. State ADG(headquarter) Anil Sinha said instructions had been issued to all district police superintendents to take measures for providing security of vital installations, religious places and government offices in their respective areas.

''Additional security personnel have been deployed in the sensetive areas of naxalite affected districts to avert disruptive activities of the ultras,'' he said adding extra vigil was being maintained at important religious places in the state.
