Swamy to visit China on June 11

Chennai, May 12: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy would be visiting China on June 11 to discuss issues of mutual Sino-Indian interests, and address the Afro-Asian Institute set up by the Chinese Cabinet on 'India and China in a Globalised World.' According to a party statement, Dr Swamy would leave for Beijing on June 11 on a four-day visit. The former Union Law and Commerce Minister would also interact with eminent professors of Tsinghua and Beijing Universities before returning to India via Shanghai on June 15 where he would visit the NIIT software unit set up by Dr Swamy's former IIT student Dr Rajendra Pawar.
