Woman drowned, one injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 11: A woman drowned and another was injured in separate incidents in south and north Kashmir respectively.

The body of Khatija was fished out today from the Lidder river at Langanbal, sources said, adding it was, however, not immediatley known how she fell into the river.

In another incident, a person was hit and injured by an unidentified vehicle at Trehgam in the frontier district of Kupwara.

He had been hospitalised.

Investigations were underway.
