Jharkhand school students to get free hair cut

Ranchi, May 11 : School students in Jharkhand will now get a free haircut. The State government has asked the principals of all government schools to appoint part-time barbers who will visit schools to trim and give a nice crop to the children.

State HRD minister Bandhu Tirkey said it is, however, not mandatory for the students to get hair cut in the school.

He said the step would help parents from below poverty line families who are unable to afford to give their children a hair cut at regular intervals.
