American baseball inspires youth in Manipur

Manipur, May 9th 2008 : American baseball is becoming increasingly popular in India's northeastern Manipur with sports enthusiasts in the state taking keen interest in the game. Since the inception of the First Pitch Baseball Club in Manipur, the youth players of the state have started very keen interest of the game.

The Manipuri youth"s active participation in the game has led to the tournaments being organized at the state level with an objective to promote the game even more.
