Poppy, bhang over 1000 kanals of land destroyed by Kashmir police

Srinagar, May 10 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police has launched a massive drive against the smugglers in south Kashmir, official sources said.

They said during the drive, police headed by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Shafat Hussain destroyed bhang and poppy straw over 1000 kanals of land at Marhama, Waghama, Dupatyar and Tulkhan villages in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. However, no one was arrested, they added.
