PM briefs President on Budget session

New Delhi, May 10: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan and discussed the just-concluded Budget session of Parliament and other issues.

During the 45-minute meeting, the two leaders also discussed issues of national and international importance, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said.
The President also briefed the Prime Minister about her recent visit to Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
