Mild earthquake hits Bhaderwah town of JK

Jammu, May 10: An earthquake of mild intensity shook Bhaderwah town in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon, official sources here said.

However, there was no immediate word on loss to life or damage to property while the magnitude of the quake was yet to be recorded, they added.

''People came out of their houses in the open as the quake lasted a couple of seconds,'' an official told UNI.
