IA flight returns due to bad weather in Port Blair
Chennai, May 10 (UNI) An Indian Airlines flight returned to Chennai following inelement weather conditions at Port Blair which made landing impossible.
Airport officials said the flight carrying 105 passengers took off at 0500 hrs from the Anna International Airport and returned at 0815 hrs after failing to land at Port Blair due to bad weather.
Since the weather did not improve, the flight was cancelled in the afternoon, they said.
Jet Airways and Air Deccan flights to Port Blair were also cancelled, they added.
