Bus falls into river: 2 killed in Madhya Pradesh

Seoni(MP), May 10: Two people were killed spot and 32 injured, three of them seriously, when a private bus broke the railings of a bridge and fell 20 feet deep into the Alon river in Seoni district today.

The accident took place 65 km from here on Dhanora- Lakhnadon-Seoni road. The deceased were identified as Sadaram(34) and Munnabhai(24). The seriously injured were being treated at the district hospital here, Superintendent of Police Meenakshi Sharma said.

An irate mob resorted to road blockade demanding compensation to the next of kin of the dead.
