President expresses grief over J and K bus accident

New Delhi, May 9 : President Pratibha Devisingh Patil has expressed her deep anguish over the tragic bus accident in which a number of persons lost their lives and some were injured when a bus fell into the Chenab River at Wardha Village in Jammu and Kashmir.

Patil has conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed to the Almighty to give the bereaved families the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

In a condolence message addressed to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Patil said: "I am sure the State Government is providing all possible help to the bereaved families who have lost their near and dear ones and is also providing medical facilities to those who have been injured".
