LG launches LCD monitor at Rs 7,800

New Delhi, May 9: LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd (LGEIL), a global major in electronics, information and communication products, today launched a 15.6 inch wide LCD monitor at a price tag of Rs 7,800.

''A higher contrast ratio implies vivid image, brighter picture and sharper text. LG's LCD monitors boast of high contrast ratio as compared to many commonly available LCD monitors in the market. The 5000:1 DFC and f-engine ensure such a striking picture clarity that the customer does not have to compromise on the picture quality even in the entry-level product,'' Business Group Head, IT Division, LGEIL R Manikandan said.

This LCD monitor is targeted at Home segments, Small Offices, Small and Medium Enterprises and ITES segments, Mr Manikandan added.

He further said, ''Our products reinforce our commitment to offer the best in class products to all the segments of customers. This monitor can be looked upon as an affordable, yet best alternative to CRT monitors.''
