One dead, 29 injured in Kashmir Valley road mishaps

Srinagar, May 9 : One person died, while twenty nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley on Friday.

Gurmeet Singh, a resident of village Sujanpor in Punjab's Gurdaspur District, died after the motorcycle he was driving collided with poplar tree near Abi Trag Chandhar on national highway. Singh died at the SKIMS Hospital in Soura Srinagar. Police has registered a case in this regard.

A Sumo hit and injured Younis Ahmad Mangroo in Bijbehara. The other road mishaps occurred in Kadalbal Pompore, Manghama Keeri and near Pulwama.
