2 teachers killed in hit and run mishap

Kohima, May 9 (UNI) Two teachers, who were riding a motor bike, were killed when a vehicle ran over them near Longnak Chanki, in Mokokchung district yesterday.

Official sources said that the teachers, identified as Ningsangtemsu and Temjensunup, were on their way from Mangkolemba to Mokokchung town after attending a teachers' training programme.

Some eyewitnesses claimed that the vehicle belonged to the CRPF.

Police investigation was on, sources said.
