Slight intensity quake rocks Nepal-Tibet border

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) A slight intensity earthquake rocked the Nepal-Tibet border this afternoon, the Indian Meteorological Department said.

The tremor, measuring 4.1 on the richter scale hit the region at around 1340 hrs today.

The epicentre was recorded at 27.9 degrees North and 87.8 degrees East.

There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or property.
