Poisoning accusation drove Richards to break-up with Sheen

New York, May 08 : American actress Denise Richards has revealed the reason that finally drove her to break up with actor Charlie Sheen.

Richards revealed that the last straw that broke up her marriage was when Sheen accused her of poisoning their daughter, Sam, with a vaccination.

The 37-year-old actress had married 42-year-old Sheen in 2002 and filed for a divorce from him in March 2005. However she did not go through with it as they tried to mend their relationship.

But on January 2006, Richard's representative said that she was going through with the divorce.

"I knew when he said that that the marriage wasn't going to work," the New York Post quoted her, as telling Redbook.

But the mother of two still has hopes of finding true love, and the man who would treat her right.

"I'm divorced with two kids, and my ex-husband is Charlie Sheen. I want a partner who understands all of this and still wants to be with me through the journey," she added.
