One killed, two injured in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 8 (UNI) One person was killed and two others were injured in separate road mishaps in Kashmir Valley overnight, official sources said today.

Abdul Majid Sheikh was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Sonawar on the Srinagar-Jammu highway.

He was rushed to hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

Besides, Jamaluddin was injured after being hit by a vehicle at Leh in Ladakh. He was hospitalised.

Later, a vehicle hit and critically wounded Shabir Ahmad at Chanapora. He was admitted to Bone and Joint hospital at Barzulla.
