Newborn baby found dead in drugs container in Jammu
Jammu, May 8 (UNI) The body of a newborn baby was recovered from a drugs container near the Government District Hospital, Rajouri, in Jammu and Kashmir, sources today said.
''Some passers-by found the body of the child in a drug container about 50 meters away from the hospital at Rajouri yesterday,'' the sources told UNI.
News of the baby spread like wildfire and people in large numbers under the leadership of some local leaders held protest demonstrations in Rajouri town.
People accused the hospital administration of negligence and also alleged that some doctors were involved in unethical practices in town, sources said.
The demonstrators asked the district administration to take stringent action against the people involved in such an ''inhuman'' act.
