Bomb hoax at local court in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Bomb scare at Nampalli Metropolitan court turned out to be a hoax after bomb squads conducted thorough checks on the premises in the city today.

Police said Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sai Mohan received an anonymous call at his home at 1015 hrs that a bomb had been planted in the court and it would go off any time.

He informed the police, which immediately rushed to the spot along with bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs. People were evacuated from the court premises and the place thoroughly checked.

However, no explosive material was found in the court.

The Magistrate had received an anonymous call two months ago, which also turned out to be a hoax.
