Azad grieved over loss of lives in Kishtwar road accident

Srinagar, May 8 (UNI) Expressing concern over frequency of road mishaps, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed extreme grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident on Doda-Kishtwar road today resulting in the loss of 28 lives.

The Chief Minister, who is currently on a tour of Karnataka, was grieved to know about the accident and asked the divisional administration to immediately rush rescue and relief teams to the site of accident.

He issued instructions for providing best possible medical aid to the injured.

He also asked the traffic department to take adequate and stringent measures to check the recurrence of road accidents.

Mr Azad conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families whose dear ones died in the accident.
