Washington, May 04 : After ruling the music industry, American rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is now ready to take up acting and become 'a Black Bruce Willis'.
Combs is getting ready to leave his New York nightlife and to move on to L.A. and acting.
"I think that it's important for me to mature and evolve as an artist," People magazine quoted Combs at the From Harlem to Hollywood! ceremony honoring his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"I'm trying to get my Black Bruce Willis on," he said.
Even though he has been receiving the A-list treatment, he does not mind starting back at the bottom.
"I'm trying to get Michael Bay to shoot me, have a hot soundtrack," Combs said.
"But I also realize I have a lot of work to do as an actor and I gotta prove myself," he stated.
To fit in with his new Hollywood crowd, he's even revamping his party style to sync up in with the West Coast curfew.
"Everybody stops working at like six o'clock and the clubs close at two. Everything is on a strict schedule and you have to respect that," he said.
But staying true to his East Coast roots, he promises to bring some of that late-night flavor with him.
"I probably will be kind of after hours out here," he added.
He's off to a good start, throwing a star-studded bash May 02 night, with Sienna Miller, Ne-Yo, and Ashton Kutcher being on the list to celebrate his L.A. arrival.
