Noted film Producer Prabodh Mukherji passes away

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Hindi movie Producer Prabodh Mukherji passed away in a private hospital here following a cardiac arrest.

He was 88. He is survived by wife and two sons.

According to his son Basu Mukherji, Prabodh was admitted to Nanavati Hospital since a week following various ailments including cardiac problems. Last midnight, he was declared dead.

He produced several movies like Shammi Kapoor starrer Junglee', April Fool', Sharmili', 'Love Marriage', 'Shagird', 'Abhinetri', and 'Ladke Baap Se Badke'.

The funeral will be held at Santacruz crematorium today.
