Govr reacts to Bush remark

Bhopal, May 4: Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar today claimed that efforts to control galloping inflation would succeed and nobody need be sad over India's prosperity and progress.

Dr Jakhar's remark was on United States President George W Bush's statement allegedly holding the Indian middle class responsible for the price rise.

''This year's foodgrain output in India is also as per expectation,'' the Governor said here while addressing a function at the local Habibganj Station to welcome the Science Express under the aegis of the National Science and Technology Council.
