Maoist ultra arrested at Midnapore
Jhargram, May 04 (UNI) A noted Maoist ultra, operating in the Belpahari region of West Midnapore, was arrested from the Banspahari forest area.
West Midnapore SP R Rajshekharan said here today that acting on a tip-off, a police contingent surrounded the forest and arrested Mangal Mura (25) last night.
He was involved in executing a bomb explosion at Kankrajhore Forest Bungalow in December, 2004, the SP said.
Incidentally, Mangal's brother is a CPI (M) Panchayat candidate for the Dakai Panchayat elections under Belpahari police station.
