JD(U) releases manifesto, focus on farmers
Bangalore, May 4 (UNI) Janata Dal (United) has promised interest-free farm loans and free supply of power for irrigation in Karnataka if it came to power.
Releasing the party's manifesto for the coming Assembly elections in Karnataka, JD(S) National General Secretary Shambhu Srivatsava said the party will give thrust to farming sector if it came to power.
Apart from providing interest-free loans to farmers, the party will also give priority to disburse interest-free education loans to children of farmers.
The manifesto also promises to build better infrastructure facilities for urban dwellers and tries to break the nexus of both mining and real estate operators who run illegal mining and transact shady land deals.
