Denise Van Outen reveals her tanning bed horror

London, May 4 : It's not just cosmetic surgeries playing havoc in celebs' lives, tanning, too, has become the latest culprit. And, the perfect example of that is - TV beauty Denise Van Outen.

The stunner, who's a judge on the talent show 'I'd Do Anything', revealed that her face has been left scarred because she used to use tanning beds.

Denise began using the tanning beds in her teenage years and has admitted she became addicted.

"I used a sunbed when I was 18 because I didn't know the risks but I'm paying for it now," the News of the World quoted her, as saying.

"It's my biggest regret - I have pigmentation problems on my face," she added.

Her face is now blemished with brown spots and she's forced to hide the scars on her face with makeup.

She said: "Girls are still using sunbeds, risking cancer for a tan."

Denise, who also presents the breakfast show with Johnny Vaughan on London's Capital Radio adds, "Tans fade and it's not worth the risk. Now my tan's from a bottle and safe."
