Blake Fielder-Civil's prison letter reveals his regrets
Washington, May 04 : Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly sent a letter to fans from jail, stating how he felt bad for having failed to make his wife Amy Winehouse happy.
Fielder-Civil, who has always been criticized for having a bad influence on Winehouse, is being viewed in a different light after the letter.
The 25-year-old had written a two page note, using prison paper, suggesting that, he had only wanted a "normal life" and to "make Amy happy" but feels he's failed at both.
"I heard I'm the worst celebrity of the year! I'm not even a celebrity!! My wife has the voice, I'm just her husband!" New!magazine quoted him as having written.
"All I ever wanted was a normal life getting on with my job (music videos - but no one ever accepts I did work) and trying to make Amy happy!
"Guess I'm failing at both now, hey?" he said.
Blake, who is on remand and awaiting a hearing, mentioned about the comments in the newspaper also.
"It gets a bit hard some times, especially when I read I'm fighting and most annoyingly that I'd shaved all my hair off!!"
"I am actually very upbeat most of the time and I think I should probably write you a happier letter soon," he added.
