Vamsee International to organise Dasari's birthday celebration

Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) Telugu Film Producers Council President Thammareddy Bharadwaja today said Vamsee International would organise the 62nd birthday celebrations of 'Guinness Book of World Records' holder in Telugu film industry Dasari Narayana Rao in the city tomorrow.

Addressing a press conference here, he said Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would be the chief guest in the celebrations in which 132 producers associated with Mr Dasari and 21 Producers, who had produced films with him in the lead role, will be felicitated.

He said Best Director and Best New Director awards would be given to "Happy Days" Director Sekhar Kammula and "Mee Sreyobhilashi" Director V Eeshwar Reddy, respectively.

Besides, scholarships would also be presented to the economically poor students while Dasari Film Journalist awards will be given to two journalists.
