Two ministers resign from Mayawati ministry
Lucknow, May 2: Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Education and Research Minister Kamalkant Gautam and Women Welfare Minister for State Vidhya Chaudhary have resigned from their post today. UP governor T V Rajeswar had accepted the resignation of the two ministers, Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar has said.
UP Chief Minister Mayawati early today inducted two new Cabinet Ministers and also upgraded two Ministers of State (Independent charge) to Cabinet rank. Now, UP Council of Ministers has a strength of 52 members that includes 30 Cabinet Ministers, including the Chief Minister herself, 15 Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and 7 Ministers of State.
