Ms Harirani sworn in Kerala HC judge

Kochi, May 2: Ms M C Harirani was today sworn in as a judge of the Kerala High Court, the first Scheduled Caste woman judge of the court.

Ms Harirani (58) was administered the oath of office by Kerala High Court Chief Justice H L Dattu in the presence of fellow judges, Advocate General C P Sudhakara Prasad, Additional AG Venganoor C Nair and Bar Association President P J Varghese.

She was elevated to the High Court after serving as the district judge of Wayanad.
