Two school children killed in road accident, six injured

Gopalganj, Apr 30 (UNI) Two school children were killed and six injured when a jeep carrying them collided head on with a truck at Mahmatpur Chowk in the district today.

Police said the incident happened when driver of the truck lost control of his vehicle and hit the jeep carrying the school children, who were on way to R P Public school near Mahmatpur Bazar in Gopalganj district from Dumra village under Kotwa police station in West Champaran district.

The victims were identified as Saundrya and Nidhi Kumari.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital.
