Uttarakhand to tap its water sports potential

Bhimtal, Apr 27, 2008 : With vast potential for water sports at its disposal, India's northern Uttarakhand state gears up to develop these in the state.

Organising a three-day national open championship on kayaking and canoeing in Bhimtal town of the state's Nanital district, authorities are trying to infuse enthusiasm among the youth to give the state a distinction in adventure sports.
