PM inaugurates 390 MW power project in Kashmir

Kashmir, Apr 27, 2008: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurated the 390 MW Dulhasti power project on the river Chenab in the mountainous Kistwar district of northern Jammu and Kashmir on April 26.

Dedicating the project to the nation, Singh said that the state needs to exploit its vast natural resources.
