Devp funds fail to reach poor says Rahul Gandhi

Dindori, April 27, 2008 : Rahul Gandhi, general secretary of India's main ruling Congress party said that funds disbursed by the federal government to the states for development purposes fail to reach the ground level and the poor.

While addressing a large gathering of tribals in India's central Dindori as a part of his four-day tour to the Madhya Pradesh state Rahul Gandhi hinted that the funds that are being disbursed are not trickling down to the poor.
