Tsunami, cancer, AIDS victim to get reservation in medical colleges
Chandigarh, Apr 29 (UNI) The Punjab Government today decided that tsunami, cancer, AIDS victims would be provided 1 per cent reservation in admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BHMS courses in medical, dental, ayurvedic and homeopathic institutes in the state.
According to an official spokesman, admission in the case of AIDS victims would be subject to clearance by special Medical Board constituted by the state government.
