Shaji Purushothaman takes over as MD

Chennai, Apr 29 (UNI) Mr Shaji Purushothaman, son of Empee Group founder-Chairman M P Purushothaman, has taken over as the Managing Director of the Empee Distilleries Limited.

A company release here today said 33-year-old Purushothaman, an Arts Graduate, had over a decade of rich administrative experience, having served as Managing Director of Empee Infotech Limited from 1996 to 2000 and Director Marketing of Empee Distilleries Limited from 2000 to 2004.

He was currently engaged in executing and implementing the diversification plans of the group.
