Police arrest one person for carrying cash in car

Bidar, Apr 29 (UNI) Police today seized a cash worth Rs 30 lakh and arrested younger brother of BJP candidate of Bhalki Prakash Khandre here today District Superintendent of Police A S Rao told UNI here that on a tip off the police intercepted a car in which the cash was being carried by Jagadish Khandre.

He said that the accused was arrested alongwith the cash at Bhalki and produced before the court.

Mr Rao said that the police is inquiring about the purpose of carrying the cash for his business purpose or election campaigning for his brother.
