Godown manager of FCI kidnapped in Siwan
Siwan, Apr 29 (UNI) A godown manager of Food Corporation of India (FCI) was kidnapped on his way to office at Maharajganj from his residence under Town police station in Siwan district yesterday.
Police said here today gowdown manager Kashinath Kalgyan had left his residence at Nirala Nagar under Town police station in the district for his office when he was abducted.
He somehow managed to inform Manoj Pandey, an employee of his office, last night about his kidnapping and the abductors was putting pressure on him to pay Rs 50 lakhs as ransom.
Mr Pandey informed his higher authority Krishna Bihari Prasad, manager of FCI in Siwan, who subsequently lodged an FIR at Maharajganj police station suspecting three people-- Arun Singh, Samsed Mian and Parasnath Yadav for the kidnapping, police said adding raids were on to arrest the named accused.
