5 killed in road accident at Erode

Chennai, Apr 29: Five people were killed and as many injured in a collision between a car and a container lorry on the Dharapuram-Coimbatore road in Erode district of Tamil Nadu late last night.

Reports received here today said all the victims were travelling in the ill-fated car when the accident occurred.

The injured were admitted to a hospital.
