Pyramid Saimira to invest Rs 100 cr on expansion of F

New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) Media and entertainment firm Pyramid Saimira today said it will invest Rs 100 crore in the F&B division over the next year.

''We will invest close to Rs 100 crore in the F&B division over the next year and we expect that this will contribute close to 25 per cent of our top-line,'' The company also plans to scale up operations extensively in the NCR.

''Delhi is a pivotal market for us. With increase in disposable income of consumers, rapid urbanisation, and increasing popularity of convenience foods, food and beverage sector is expected to grow at an incredible pace and Pyramid Saimira will capitalise on this boom,'' Pyramid Saimira Group Chairman P S Saminathan said.

The Chennai-based entertainment conglomerate, operates in film distribution, besides being active in film, TV and radio productions, providing satellite TV services and running food courts.

Pyramid Saimira has two food courts in operation with the following brands - Apple Tree, Red Curry, Shivalay, augrita, Tahal, Beverage&More and the latest being Brahmin's Kitchen, an initiative to bring traditional Brahmin food in the modern format.

Another segment of F&B, under the brand name, Cineteria is operating at 106 theatres, across South India.
