Jammu, Apr 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Legislature member today said two-day visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the state has failed to meet the ''aspirations'' of the people here.

Addressing a press conference here this morning, Panthers Party MLA from Ramnagar constituency in Udhampur district, Harsh Dev Singh said, ''the people of Jammu region are not satisfied with the visit of Prime Minister, as he has failed to meet their expectations.'' ''The Prime Minister yet again announced package for the Kashmiri migrants but nothing was offered to the Doda, Kathua, Reasi and Udhampur migrants,'' Mr Harsh said asserting, ''PM's address not even touched the issue of migrants, refugees and thousands of unemployed agitating youth in the state.'' The MLA said as per the Supreme Court ruling, every ''migrant'' is to be treated at par, but the UPA government has always ''benefited'' the Kashmiri migrants.

''We are not opposing package to the Kashmiri migrants but there should have been equal distribution among the displaced people of both the regions, Mr Harsh said.

However, he also alleged issue to constitute De-limitation Commission in the state, has been put into cold storage again.

''The UPA government has not succeeded in meeting the demands of the people while the visits of Congress high commands, including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh are just to revive the ''dead'' Congress in Jammu and Kashmir,'' Mr Harsh Dev told UNI.
