More 110 kanals of land for Srinagar airport

Srinagar, Apr 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to provide another 110 kanals of land to Sheikh-ul-Alam airport, Srinagar, an official spokesman said today.

He said with the annexation of this land to airport, the air flights would be doubled and the aeroplanes would also have hassle free landing and take off.

He further said the land has already been identified by state government, Airport Director and other officers.

The concerned functionaries of Revenue department has been directed to prepare the requisite papers for the transfer of land to Airport.
