IDBI Q4 net up 14.72% at Rs 244.99 cr
New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Industrial Development Bank of India Ltd (IDBI) said its net profit has increased 14.72 per cent to Rs 244.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 213.55 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
The Bank's total income also shot up 20.26 per cent to Rs 2,628.2 crore during Q4 FY08 as against Rs 2,185.35 crore for the same period a year ago.
Its net profit for FY08 hiked 15.72 per cent to Rs 729.45 crore as compared to Rs 630.31 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The total income increased 30.97 per cent to Rs 9,656.31 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 7,372.6 crore a year ago.
The Group posted a net profit of Rs 746.59 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 588.31 crore a year ago, a hike of 26.90 per cent.
The Group's total income increased 32.54 per cent to Rs 9,963.11 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 7,516.82 crore a year ago.
