Cipla Q4 net up 42.72% at Rs 179.45 cr
New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) Pharma major Cipla has posted a net profit of Rs 179.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 125.73 crore for the same quarter a year ago, an increase of 42.72 per cent.
Its total income has also surged 21.05 per cent to Rs 1,162.77 crore for Q4 FY08 as against Rs 960.53 crore for the same period a year ago.
Cipla's net profit for FY08 shot up 4.85 per cent to Rs 700.48 crore from Rs 668.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The total income increased 18.62 per cent to Rs 4352.04 crore for FY08 as compared to Rs 3668.79 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
