Bar owner, manager booked; 10 bar girls fined

Mumbai, Apr 27 (UNI) Police have nabbed 12 people including owner and manager of a bar and ten girls, in a raid conducted on the bar, late last night for allegedly indulging in luring customers by obscene activities.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted raid at 0030 hrs and found bar girls wearing skimpy clothes to lure the customers, police said.

The bar girls were taken into custody along with the owner and manager of the bar. The girls were later let off after paying a fine of Rs 1,200 each. But the bar owner and manager were booked under section 33(i)(w) of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA), police added.
